Natural Health and Herbal Medicine
I use herbs and essences within the context of a holistic treatment to restore a state of balance, health and equilibrium. Each person has their own unique constitution, and treatment is tailored accordingly. The aim is to uncover the root cause of a problem - not just treat symptoms - and to maintain optimum health.

A herbal or essence formula is designed specifically for each person, and advice is given on diet and other natural treatments to be used in conjunction with it to activate your body's own powerful healing energies.

Iridology
The body is mapped in the iris of the eye, which is intimately connected with all parts of the body via the nervous system. Looking at the iris is like looking at your genetic blueprint. Colours, textures and patterns in the eye show the inherited constitution, with associated strengths and potential weaknesses, as well as acquired traits. Many things appear in the iris before physical symptoms become apparent, so iridology is very useful for prevention of ill health, as well as determining treatment when there is already an illness.

Herbal Medicine and natural healing methods can help with almost anything you might go to your GP for. They are particularly beneficial for chronic problems, and can sometimes help conditions that have no treatment in conventional medicine.

I am a full member of the Association of Master Herbalists and The Guild of Naturopathic Iridologists, and adhere to their code of ethics and professional practice. I am also a member of the AMH council, am co-editor of the journal The Herbalist, and am one of the HerbFest organisers.

Herbfest 2010 July 23rd to 25th at Green & Away, near Worcester

Join us for a celebration of the healing power of plants in rural Worcestershire this summer. Herbfest is a three day event geared to herbalists but open to anyone interested in learning in depth about plants and their uses for human health.  There will also be stalls selling books and herbal products, and evening entertainment. It's a chance to increase your knowledge, meet herbalists and other people working with medicinal plants, and have fun.
